The Governor-General Hot Spring

The old name of The Governor-General Hot Spring is “New Tower”, which was constructed from May of the thirteenth year of Shouwa (1938) and completed on September of the fourteenth year of Shouwa (1939). Then, it took Taipei Taiwan Yen 30000 and had ever been quite grand after the completion.

After Taiwan was recovered, New Tower was listed as the coast defense fort, the army quartered here, and the source of hot spring was blocked by the army, too. New Tower also began to dilapidate after the retreat of army, and the hot spring of New Tower was endued with the new life till the refit of The Governor-General Hot Spring in 2000.
