After online voting and on-site visits by the selection committee from November to December 2022, Jiaoxi, Wulai and Tai'an hot spring areas won the highest honor in the hot spring industry – the Perfect Ten Hot Spring Award. To win this award, it is also necessary to receive unanimous praise from the selection committee during the selection process in addition to securing the support of a majority of the public voting online.
The Golden Spring Awards include a total of seven different awards: the Perfect Ten Hot Spring Award, the Best Innovation Award, the Best CP Value Award, the Tourism Friendly Environment Award, the Best Tourism Recommendation Award, the Best Landscaping Aesthetics Award and the Quality Service Award.
In line with the new era, the winners of the "Best Innovation Award" were Jiaoxi, Guguan and Dakeng hot springs. The winners of the "Best CP Value Award," where customers feel the overall service is worth more than the actual price paid, were Tai'an and Jinshan Wanli and Guanziling Hot Spring areas. The winners of the "Best Tourism Recommendation Award," offering the software and hardware facilities needed by tourists and making them feel at home, were Wulai, Ruisui and Dongpu hot springs. As for the "Best Landscaping Aesthetics Award" with the most exquisite and holistic appearance, the winners were Baolai Bulao, Antong, Neiwan Jianshi hot spring areas. Beigang River, Shamao Mountain and Yangmingshan hot spring areas won the "Excellent Service Award".
